After a competitive application process, Helping Restore Ability was selected as the recipient of a grant through OneStar Foundation. Led by a consultant specializing in nonprofit planning, we are working together with our Board, staff, and stakeholders to identify strategic planning goals for the coming year.

OneStar Foundation
OneStar’s mission is to build a stronger nonprofit sector for a better Texas. OneStar connects faith-based and community organizations, businesses, government and foundations to create powerful public-private partnerships that drive community solutions.  OneStar works to ensure the state nonprofit network has the tools to effectively impact the visible needs and deeper root causes of social challenges in Texas. These tools include an understanding of the nonprofit infrastructure and the role each organization plays in the success of the sector.

Miracle League DFW began when our friend Doug Inman stepped up from within the community and rallied everyone who would listen to build the first North Texas Miracle League field. Doug carried in his heart a vision of Miracle League Kids playing baseball on their very own fields all across the DFW area.
 
As an organization, we continue to passionately pursue this very mission and invite you to join us as we work to bring this joy to communities across DFW so that one day soon every Child would have the opportunity to Play Ball!
